- 1. What is the difference between an accredited course and non accredited course?

An accredited course is a Nationally Recognised Qualification and can provide you with a Qualification Certificate or a Statement of Attainment where you have completed part of the course.
A non accredited course means that you are not participating in a Qualification, however attending training which may update work skills and then be provided a statement of attendance.
- 2. Can i get RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) for courses that M.T & D offer?

Yes, you can apply for RPL. However this is approved based on specific criteria in respect to the qualification. Please Contact M.T & D directly to enquire about your specific needs.
- 3. If I already have a Statement of Attainment can I use it towards a full qualification in the same or similar training package?
- Yes you can, as long as this is relevant and recent. A course completed 10 years ago will not be valid unless you you have updated the skills through other training.
- 4. Am I eligible for financial assistance when I enrol in a course with M.T & D?
- In many cases participants can access goverment funding for part if not all of their tutition fee. You must contact us to see if you are eligible this will be assessed on a number of factors, some may include:

- 5. Do I have to have an employer to do a traineeship?
- Yes, once employed in the workplace you will be signed up to an Australian Apprenticeship and then choose your RTO for the training, which can delivered completely on the job in most cases.
- 6. How long does a Traineeship/Apprenticeship take to complete?
- Traineeships are competency based. This will be a self paced individual experience, generally in the workplace. You are given 18-24 months to complete, however if you want to get this completed sooner and are deemed competent, then you will complete sooner.
- 7. If I completed my RSA course with M.T & D will this be recognised in other States?
- Yes, with the exception of NSW. NSW are not recognising RTO's that are not on the approved provider list which can be found on the OLGR web site.
- 8. Can I enrol online?
- Sure can, just browser throught our course list, select the course you wish to enrol in and click Enrol me!
- 9. Can I pay for my course Online?
- Just follow through the enrolment procress and you will be done in no time!
